A Black Hole

O fear not in a world like this,
And thou shalt know erelong,
Know how sublime a thing it is
To suffer and be strong.

Connecting in many ways

I am very disconnected most of the time. Whether its because of social Inadequacies, lack of time or resolve to simply keep up with the lives of those who are important to me, or a dearth of media to do so with, its easy for me to get a sense that the world is passing me by. I’ve taken some steps to change this, and they are the little things I’ve known I should have been doing all along but was too lazy to, and the methods I was just too tech. and world-unaware to use. Calling friends even when I have “better” things to do, going out of my way to do something for them when I am  legitimately too busy, and simply hanging out. I’ve found that this makes me feel better about my own problems, because 1) im helping my friends which is a good thing, and 2) obviously spending time with others is healthy. Also, I’ve been introduced to the wonderful world of blogs by Cameron and David, which help me put down my thoughts and very importantly see what some very creative people are up to.

Harold and Maude = favorite movie

A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they are not dead, really. They’re just backing away from life. *Reach* out. Take a *chance*. Get *hurt* even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! Give me an L. Give me an I. Give me a V. Give me an E. L-I-V-E. LIVE! Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room.

Nowadays most people die of a sort of creeping common sense, and discover when it is too late that the only things one never regrets are one’s mistakes.
